WHAT SERVICES DOES YOUR COMMUNITY NEED IN THE NEW NORMAL?
CREATING SUSTAINABLE COMMMUNITIES

Having a strong community infrastructure and supportive local networks are factors that have helped communities withstand and adapt to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Creating Sustainable Communities project is a DART Partnership project, funded by The National Lottery Community Fund NI. The CSC project is based in Craigavon but operates throughout the ABC Council area. In line with the with the National Lottery Community Fund's  immediate priority to keep money flowing to support people, communities and organisations affected by the COVID-19 crisis we have transitioned our planned services to this purpose.

Supporting community resilience coming out of lockdown will continue to be the prime focus of the CSC project moving forward and we achieve this through the provision of relevant training, targeted transport services and the funding of local projects which can increase community capacity and resilience moving out of lockdown.

Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic CSC has been active supporting our communities, our health service and local council by assisting foodbanks with distribution, delivering food to isolated individuals and distributing PPE, medical equipment, and prescriptions across the ABC Council area.

Prioritizing our services moving forward is a key conversation we wish to have with our communities and we need you and your community group to be part of that process with the realisation that Covid has accelerated many changes and will continue to present many challenges to communities.

So please take this opportunity to tell us your priorities for support by clicking on our survey.
